I sat in on a talk on carbonate replacement deposits (CRDs) in Mexico by Peter Megaw this morning. One of the Virginia Chapter of the Friends of Mineralogy monthly Zoom sessions. It has been recorded and I will share the link when I have it. Worthwhile watching.
So, after that, I have decided on hemimorphite for this week's Mineral of the Week, seeing that hemimorphite is synonymous with Mexico. Of course, it occurs at many other localities too!
