Dropped in to the Cradle Mountain National Park today. We lived in Tasmania for 20 years but never made it here.
The top part of Cradle Mountain is eroded columns of a Jurassic dolerite sill. Signs of glaciation on some of the lower rocks.
And a beautiful day even if a little cool. Hopefully snow the next time we come here...
